“TEDSKY (b. 1992, The Netherlands) is the pseudonym of a dutch self-taught artist.
With his unique signature style the artist is able to create compelling and beautiful ways to communicate through his artworks. Popular icons, mythology and philosophy form the basis for his art. With a significant use of texts and quotes in his artworks the works of art are both pleasing for the eye and interesting for the mind.
The work of Tedsky is best described as a mirror towards society and its cultural movements. As an artist, TEDSKY experiences the responsibility to act as a role model and counterbalance to modern society and culture. Our existence demands to be faced with the courage to live. In the background of his artworks you’ll find a multitude of references, quotes and drawings that revolve around this courage and energy to live fully.”
Zijn auto-didactische (moderne c.q. conceptuele) kunstvorm is over het algemeen redelijk breed. Qua kunstvorm vindt hij het belangrijk om als kunstenaar duidelijk te kunnen communiceren. Hij wil een verbinding opzoeken in plaats van de toeschouwer vrij te laten in zijn eigen interpretaties. Het doel van zijn werk is om een menselijke connectie te maken met de toeschouwers om te durven leven, om te durven falen en om te durven proberen. Het mogen creëren en hiermee mensen proberen te inspireren is voor hem een enorme passie. Zijn doel is om zo veel mogelijk mensen te inspireren en ervan bewust te maken dat het leven zo kort is.
Bijgevoegd vind u enkele voorbeelden van mijn werken. Mijn kunst probeert zowel aantrekkelijk te zijn voor het oog als prikkelend voor de geest.
